Wow, that was quite harsh. I can understand the GG parts, I don't think of myself as being part of the GG fandom, because I hate most of what the show was & as I get older I do see more & more problematic things about it.

But I try to seperate dair from the show & I'll always be a part of this fandom

I didn’t watch the show for the first time until late 2016/early 2017 but I’m first and foremost a Dair fan who also likes other non-endgame ships from the show as well

yeah that song really gets to me every time I hear it

and this one especially that plays during the “that girl is fiercely strong” scene



the people who were in charge of music really picked good songs for their scenes

I love TV couples with songs that play during their scenes where you can really get the sense of the story of their romance just from the lyrics alone

Me too, & we certainly got a lot of good dair songs. I can't pick out just one, but New York City by Among Savages was pretty perfect

finished watching The Philadelphia Story for the first time tonight and the characters that Dan and Blair are compared to had strong Dair vibes with their banter/dynamic
