I'm currently watching S2 and it's not like they're awful together or anything (they actually managed to annoy me more while not dating). But I don't think they really match together, they clearly want different things in life. It just feels like Robin should be with someone else imo.

These are brilliant. I loved those moments. Gpoy, so much.

Yeah, they bugged me a lot more in S1 as well. The constant back-and-forth crushing was really tiresome. But they still annoyed me a lot in S2. It was just obvious the entire season how wrong they were for each other. Not just because Ted wants marriage/kids and Robin doesn't, but their personalities just don't match. They are different in so many ways, it felt like they had to hide parts of themselves from each other. Like when Robin was hiding the fact that she loved guns, and that she smoked.

How do I feel about those couples? I feel like I want to vomit, then to be shot in order to end the suffering of seeing them on my screen/paper, then to rise again and vomit one more time. I'd rather move to a lonely island and live with savage people than ever have to see those couples disgrace my fictional experience.

They only had a 3 minute conversation, yet somehow he's enthralled by her and suddenly forgets about his girlfriend of 3 years because there's some stupid incestuous prophecy about them being "written in the stars". Try to find a another better way to justify unsubstantial couples, writers!
