And yes, SS were amazing! They were mostly just so freakin' adorable. :sigh: But they had a few really hot scenes. Like the 'Less drooling, More drawing' scene! :thud: Nose graze! :in_love:

Your parents let you watch horror movies when you were 3? :lmao:
Mine wouldn't even let me watch soap operas when I was 11.

Seth/Summer are one of those rare couples the writers never screwed with too much. I love them just for that.

Craig/Manny
Kate/Sawyer

My favorite movie when I was three was Jaws. It's not a slasher horror movie, but it's still pretty scary! And Jurassic Park. I was two, I think, when it came out. I didn't see it in theaters, but when it came out on video, it was one of my favorite movies. :rotfl: And Godzilla.

I didn't start watching the slasher horror movies, like Halloween, until I was 9 or 10.

I'm the second child so my parents didn't really care what I did.

SS had their fair share of angst. But it was always done well. They never had any OMFG moments. They were just perfect.

Oh that happened with a few shows for me. Sometimes you have to stick it out for a few episodes to get to the really great ones.  I've seen Everwood. I watched it when it first aired and just bought the first season on DVD and had a rewatch. :thud: It's an amazing show. :sigh: So well written and I loved the storylines and Harold/Andy's frenemy relationship. :lmao:

IKR? :( It saddens me that the show never got a lot of attention because it was a consistently well-written show, except for *cough* the Henry/Betty relationship. The characters were awesome and I truly love each and every one of them (which is seriously a rare thing  ) and DB personified how a relationship should be, nurturing, healthy, believable etc. They complement each other so well, and there was never a time when I felt that it was contrived ... Betty always called Daniel out when she felt he was wrong and he did the same for her. They kept each other in line and had each others' back. Always.
I wasn't really around when the show first started but maybe it got a lot of attention back then and then it just fizzled. :( But yeah it was one of the best written shows... with wit, humor, heart, angst, and everything. :sigh: Except for Henry/Betty. I know it's the wrong thread for them but they were so horrible. :lmao: Oh I know. It's so rare for me to love every character on a show but I LOVED all of them. Daniel, Betty, Ignacio, Hilda, Justin, Amanda, Marc, Wilhelmina, Bradford, Claire, Alexis, Christina, Gio, and Henry/Matt to a degree. DB were the best thing about the show and they really do personify how a relationship should be. Always moving forward, pushing one another, knowing what's best and wanting to protect them, help them, and so on. :sigh: I just love how you saw them grow up together and into better people because of each other. :in_love:

And I adored Zero Worship. That scene ... gah. I loved how she was so honest and told him exactly how that made her felt and he truly felt bad for it because he was THAT guy. And how he tried to make up for it because even though it might take him a while, he gets it because he understands her so well. I also loved the Daniel quote back in Season 2 (I think) where he said that she was way better than any model that he knows, because it's so true.
I love that Betty doesn't feel embarrassed to tell him how she feels you know? And how Daniel always gets how she's feeling and knows all her faces.  But yes I love how he understood because he used to be that guy but he's not anymore... because of her. :sigh: Aw yes... I think that's when they go on their platonic date. Betty ends up going to help Daniel out because his date stands him up and they go to a pizza joint and do karaoke. "I've got you babe." :lmao: Then they take a walk and end up at the bridge and he tells her that. I love that he really sees who she is and how special she is. Plus... look at how he's looking at her. :thud:

Jaws?!

My favorite movie when I was 3 was the Lion King. :rotfl:
I try to watch horror movies sometimes but it always ends with me turning on every light in the house and watching cartoons.

I know, it's hard to believe SS were written by Josh Schwartz.
And they got married in the end. I'm not really the kind of person who wants all her ships to get married but in their case it just worked.

I loved the Lion King, too! I was just a weird kid. :lmao:

Yeah, most of the time I don't actually want to see my couples get married. Because it's just so cheesy. But with SS, it really worked. I just wish we got to see a little more. But, I'm happy with what we got. :sigh:

TummyKisses 05-28-2010 12:55 PM

The Lion King is the best movie ever. Period
In fact, I think cartoons take the cake over a lot of movies, LOL.

But aside from those, my favorite is Psycho, the original.
Not that the remake was really any different...

:lmao: Yeah I steer away from saying much about them in this thread but I really didn't like BH together. Eugh. My favs were Betty, Daniel (of course), HBIC Willie, Marc, Amanda, Gio and Claire. Heck, just all of them really. They really did help each other grow as a person and it was just amazing to see the progression in the characters over the years. Daniel grew into a person who unconditionally loved a boy who may or may not be his real son and learnt to stand his ground when it came to protecting his father's life work i.e. Meade Publications. He did what was right, instead of what was the easiest and I truly think that was because of Betty. She made him think about things that he never cared or considered before.

And vice versa, whenever he felt that she was doing something wrong, he called her out on it. Not because he wanted to say "I told you so" but because he truly cares for her well-being and wants her to be the person he knows she's capable of becoming. I think I'm starting to sound like a Hallmark ad  but I don't quite care. DB are just amazing. Period. :in_love:

The karaoke singing was too cute. They were having a blast with each other and just letting loose for once. And that quote is seriously one of my fav DB quotes because it just shows how much Daniel thinks of her. :sigh: And Daniel's expression in that pic ... :thud:

Okay I got to go because it's pretty late now. Nice talking to you again, Ash.

been watching Lost from season 1 to 3 just to see them again :D

I have too. Aaron was just born in the last episode I watched; I loved how fidgety he was during the labor, wanting to be right by Claire but being held back by Jin. And the proud papa hug he gave Jin was so effing adorable!
