Ally Mcbeal/John Cage#Because they understood eachother
I watched some Ally Mcbeal screencaps today, not of Ally and John, but I started thinking about them and how much I loved them together. Not romantically, just as best friends. I love she most of the time ran to him when she needed to talk and had problems. One of my favorite moments was when John sang for Ally on the stage in the bar. I thougt it was so cute. And I cried like a baby in the finale epsiode when she said she was going to miss him the most. In my opinion, they where soulmates

They were such an odd, brilliant pair. Besides his song dedication, my favourite moment between the pair was when they kissed and he sucked on her tongue so hard that she fell to the ground, totally winded.

They where definatly odd together :-) They really got eachother and eachother's worlds.
Yeah, that moment when he kissed her was cute. But I must say that I liked the roamntic thing between them the least. they are much better as friends |

I agree. They were brilliant as friends but there was nothing romantic there. All it took was for her therapist to ask her imaginging John sucking some whipped cream out of her belly button - and she cringed.

It was the 6th episode of Season 5. After John returned and gave the entire office this amazing speech about how deadened the place had become. Sort of a, "What's happened here?" speech where he talks about a place he used to go to as a child. It was a really sweet speech and it even made Ally's therapist cry when he heard it.

I do remember that scene, though. But not the therapist scene. I think I'm gonna watch season 5 again :-)

In the therapist scene, Ally asks if she should marry John because he's such a great guy and would make a brilliant father. So her therapist tells her to picture three things; the first two are very sweet and Ally seems happy at the thought of them, but the third is just too gross.

I, too, think John and Ally were best friends/soulmates and loved them together. I definitely consider myself a Biscuit/Ally shipper.

I'm watching Disc 3 of the Season 3 DVD and the next episode is the one where Ally convinces herself John is perfect for her. I can't say it's a great storyline. What I do like in this episode is how Ally imagines herself blowing fire at Ling, and Ling blows an ever bigger gust of fire right back at her.

I do think John is perfect for her. Just not as a couple

Exactly! I agree. She had many boufriends over the years, but John was always there for her. I love in the last epiaode the scene in her office when he gives her a necklace. It was from the remainings of World Trade Center, right??
