TFTNT Debs!
 I'm in NOLA and finally got to the hotel around 5pm (6 my time). I was so exhausted with all of the driving and travel. Then Lesley missed her flight from NJ and didn't arrive until 8pm.  The hotel is beautiful and they upgraded us to a suite. It's a bit Victorian. Oh...Samantha didn't come. But I won't go into that.  We're going into the French Quarter this morning and will go to Cafe du Monde for beignets. Then Sunday we're going to have brunch at Brennan's...I'm ready!  See you later!  __________________

Every morning I pass a pub called the Bear and Beignet .. and every morning I think "pretentious nonsense for middle England"  On the other hand, when we lived in France, there was a gorgeous seller who used to stroll up and down the water's edge on the beach between Marseillan and Séte with a tray of beignets carried on his head and he would cry "beignets, beignets" __________________

 We made it home save and sound after a 10 hour drive now I need vacation again Kat ~ you don't know Hugendubel? Is this bookstore just in the south then? Thought it was known everywhere in Germany..  it's so wonderful with reading corners and coffeeshops...  a place to get lost if you love to readDeborah ~ enjoy your suite  I hope you got found  btw what exactly are beignets? How do they taste? They lok delish  Debs ~ that would have been a job were I wouldn't have been happy with... all the good things would have never stayed up on my head... oh.. and thank you for the new thread I'm quite dizzy at the moment and tired.. maybe I should eat a bit and go to bed... See you all tomorrow __________________
