Has anyone else seen the film? I'm pretty sure that's the one Deborah was talking about isn't it?

SojournHeart11 12-28-2017 11:12 AM

Nope. :) Maybe I should.

fmaldy24 12-28-2017 06:09 PM

I don't know where to watch it even :)

SojournHeart11 12-28-2017 06:37 PM

Hopefully it will show up on Youtube one day and we can all watch it before it gets taken down. :look:

fmaldy24 12-28-2017 06:45 PM

yeah - I don't even know if it's showing here - although I wouldn't read the book cause it's sad so I don't know if I would see the movie either :) I'm weird like that - no sad movies or moments at all would be preferable to me :)

I try to avoid movies/films, that will depress me more afte watched them. Sometimes it's hard to avoid though because trauma and tragedy is such unavoidable themes. :(

me too and most people know that so they tell me or I ask if they've seen it before me to make sure there's nothing in there that is going to be too sad :)

I also cannot tolerate violence. Slap-stick funny humor is okay, but that extreme, gratuitous level of violence I cannot take.

Neither can my husband and I - I hate torture scenes too - we've walked out of movies that have things like that - I don't care if it's short or not but I hate it so much

Sometimes it's difficult to avoid it.
When shows get unpredictable there's always that part of me that tenses up because I don't want there to be violence or anything that makes me cry.

There is no need for torture scenes. I will never understand it :sigh:

I watched Saw I & II when I was much younger. Never again. Scarred for life.

Never ever ever will I watch them - I saw the covers for the movies and that was enough for me - I couldn't watch them

That's true and I hate that when you think you're getting one thing and suddenly this kind of thing turns up and it makes you all unhappy and feel yucky :(
