I love hiking national parks. I haven't since I was in Germany though. :(

On another note. I live on the second floor and have a balcony that the view is right in the center of the large pond, so I can see everything. We have at least 2 alligators who have been swallowing ducks and other water birds whole. It's really disturbing. I LOVE nature and animals...even gators, but this is ridiculous. They are not supposed to eat that often, but it's also mating season, so they are more aggressive. Normally they would hang out on the banks of thee pond, but these are just lying in wait for a sweet unsuspecting bird to land on the water. So, against everything I believe in, I called wildlife control. Please don't hate me.
