The Winter Olympics has started and I just watched the opening ceremony - anybody else love the Olympics like I do?

I would like to write more but I am way tired - hopefully tomorrow I will be able to get on and write more and hear about the appointments and dates and anniversaries and everything else that is happening

Deb, I don't actually have a photo of me like that. I'm weird I don't have many photos of myself. I suppose it's a lack of confidence after losing my daughter. I've lost that interest and confidence. I hope I find that carefree confidence again. It took me alot of courage to post the photos of myself on the MST board and my profile photo but that's the way it is. Others suffer more so always thank your lucky stars.

Hi all - so a nice Saturday today - went shopping and bought mum a birthday present Watched some Olympics and slept and didn't do much Took the dogs for a quick walk too Hope you all had a nice day today

Deborah - How did the appointment go for your mum? It seems like Austin is a good kid as well as your daughter. It's great she still lives close and you can help her with all the things she needs as she moves in and pays bills and everything else

Vicki - is this the same guy you were with before or a new one? Did he get on the bike yet or again?

Daggi - I'm sorry your sister can't come over to visit you - can you go to her? Is she a lot older than you? Or around the same age?

Claudia - would you like to tell us about any of the gifts you got for Richard?

Denise - hope life is going all well for you too sweet lady

Hi Daggi, Denise, Claudia, Fiona, Vicki and all of our visitors.

Mom's appointment went well. It was her 2 month and her right hip is healing well. We are tentatively planning surgery #2 for April, but they'll decide at her 3 month appointment next month. She's getting around much better and I took her to her favorite boutique yesterday and she was spoiled by the shop owners. She bought herself a lovely dress...and a beautiful light coat for me. She likes to spoil me too.

Austin and Samantha are doing well. They picked up their new TV yesterday. I bought it for their 3rd anniversary and a move-in present.

I'm taking Mark to his orthopedic surgeon on Wednesday. His back is locking up on him again. We're hoping it's not more disc problems. He's already had 2 fusions, so another would be really hard. We're not young anymore. We feel younger than we are, but we're not.

I really miss everyone...and the time I've always spent here. More stuff has and is happening this year and I don't seem to get a break. I won't bring it up here, because honestly I'm too tired of complaining. There's not a thing I can do about it, besides go on and take action on my part. Sorry to be cryptic.

Mom wants to get out today and the weather is lovely, so I'll do whatever she wants.

I have a superbusy day today too... we have a costumeparty tonight and my sister an me worked on my costume the whole afternoon I just hope it works the way it should... theme is "under the sea"... which crazy person came up with that...

I got him 3 gifts. One is 2 thermos that have the Georgia Bulldogs logo (he went to the University of Georgia). Another is a mug that says Best boyfriend ever and finally a wooden sign that says we otter be together (in lieu of an anniversary card).

My mom wants to get out again today. I figured I'd do something special and take her to the Outlet Mall in Orlando. She hasn't had a special day in a long time and she's very excited. It's only 1.5 hours away, but it will be like a long trip for her.

Today when I came home from work he didn't speak a single word with me he obviously was in a bad mood and mad at me for whatever reason.. maybe his mood is better when he wakes up again, cause he ust fell asleep on the chaor at the moment

It was nice yesterday, but exhausting. She has to use her wheelchair on outings like that, so I am pushing. I did that for a few hours. My sister is coming today and I'm leaving in the morning. Mark is going to the surgeon on Wednesday.

Daggi...did your dad talk to you last night? I'm really sorry he's doing that with you.

Sorry you're having problems with you dad again, Daggi. You're doing the very best you can to make him feel comfortable, and not all children will do that. Hope that some kind of understanding between you both will be established soon.

Deborah hope that your husband's procedure goes very well and he makes a fast recovery soon after. Oh! And I'm very happy for Samantha on the new apartment. Happy housewarming to her and her BF.
