the romantic-true love with Justin can not bring brian happiness???

This is what the writers speak about the end of the show in whatlovemean.com

So then why did they go their separate ways? Because for Brian, his Self Love and his Platonic Love were the keys to his fundamental happiness. Those are the Loves that trumped the Romantic. And because Justin knew this, he refused to lock Brian into a life in which he wouldn't be completely happyAnd after 5 years of experimentation, negotiation, heartache, and headache, they finally managed to define their Romantic Love in such a way that it didn't compromise Brian's happiness, which is (and has always been) built around his Self- and Platonic Loveshen we first met him in Season 1:

Self Love: 10
Platonic Love (most notably with Michael): 9
Familial Love (most notably with Debbie/Michael): 7
I'd say that his Romantic Love score at the end of 513 was about a 6. Which means that somehow, Justin had gotten to him and had had a definite impact. At the end of the show, Brian was able to admit and verbalize that he did indeed love Justin, in a way that was understood to be Romantic.

this is my though about the thing above:That bull****.
First sorry for my poor English.
I love the show and I never feel bothered about the end of the show, that have Brian and Justin did not marry. But I do not agree with what you had explain about the end above. Yes, you can say that Brian does not suit for married, or at the end of season 5, Brian still not ready for married. But you can not say that the romantic love with Justin can not give Brian happiness , the thing give him happiness is the self-love and the plantonic love with Michael. That is not what you show through the show, and that not what the audience see. You said that in season 1, Brian had self-love:10, and plantonic love with Michael : 9, that are the only things can give Brian happiness , but why in season 1, the audience never saw a happy Brian. We just see his life is a mess with sex and drug. And we saw that Brian just become a better person and become happier after he meet his romantic-true love Justin. After all, you say that the romantic love can not make him happy, so why you have to give a trip to find his true love, and why you made a lot of happy moment between Brian and Justin, and in the way you say, Justin is meant nothing to Brian.
Before I read your explain about the end, I really love this show, but now I very disappointed about the thing the writer said, and I think I will never watch this show again in my life.
what do you think?

This is an interesting subject and one we have discussed a few times and we keep discussing. I'm gonna bring it over to the Brian/Justin thread, where it belongs, and closing this
