Is it understandable what I mean?
Absolutely.

Gales's a method actor and BECOMES his character.

People argue pretty vehemently with me about this but I happen to think that after the Godfather Al Pacino looked/acted the same in all of his stuff. Same with Dustin Hoffman (and he's supposed to be a method actor like Gale).

I'm not going to argue with you about Hoffman and Pacino, because I'tm not really a fan of either.

Because Gale is method, he has a need to understand his character fully, and question motives of the characters. Sometimes with a shorter filming time, it can be annoying to the directors.

Well, it's the classic push - pull of artistry v. business, right?

Gale wants to portray the character the best he can and the director just wants the footage in the can.

OK - confession time. Peeking through my fingers I took a chance on G/R RPS.

Gale is fey. There's no other way to describe him.

So, I read a story called Rubber Ducky.

Randy and Gale are talking on the phone. Gals's taking a bath. Randy wants Gale to entertain him so Gale starts singing Rubber Ducky. Can't you picture him singing that??? Hysterical.

Then, he'd wanted to use bath oil in the tub and Randy warned him if it spilled the floor would get slippery.

So, they're still on the phone and Randy hears Gale get out of the tub. All of a sudden Randy hears like a crash. Gale slipped on the bath oil and almost broke his skull.

I'm laughing so hard right now I can barely type.

Brian? NO

Gale?? ABSOLUTELY.

Hey, great discussion. But I just wanted to post this video again. The reading of the Flamethrowers with Rachel Kushner, the author. Haven't watched this in a long time and suddenly felt like it.

I'm reading a fic that takes place in 2019. I keep picturing Gale and Randy at the conventions and meet and greets so I can see B/J in my mind's eye at 49 and 36. They're still very yummy and in the story they're still very insatiable!!!

Sure will! It's the fic I was talking about where the author's writing mostly what my fantasy is.

When you read it you'll be resourcing Gale and Randy at these events. They're still delicious and they STILL have so much chemistry.

The link will be in the fanfic thread.

When they start talking about the motorcycle accident. Overall great interview though.
