I'm not sure he really tried to kill himself on purpose.. I think he just was beeing thoughtless and not realising the consequences it could have, because he desperatly wanted to get lost in himself and forget about getting 30...

I don't think his purpose was to kill himself either. But yes, Daggi…I believe you're right that he doesn't think of the consequences.

It wasn't his purpose perhaps but that could have gone very wrong. He was really depressed to even have attempted that.

Oh definitely. What person in his normal mind would actually plan that whole thing out. It's not like he was high and thought, "hmm…i wonder if I should do this thing"…he planned it specifically.

I mean Brian wore scarfs, but every once in a while. He probably was up for trying something new... upon seeing it, all types of ideas registered within his mind.

I agree. I don't think the buying of the scarf was planned, but the usage of the scarf came to him when he looked at it, and he felt it, and pulled it for strength, then put it around his neck and said he would give himself something VERY special.
