Brian just did not rub me as the violent type, especially toward certain special people in his life. But like you said, he brought it on himself. Michael hit a nerve for sure.

I think Brian never would have gone so far if Michael wouldn't have overdone it.. he was way too scared to become like his dad... but when Michale didn't stop it was just to much.. we see Brian being totally in Rage but controlled by his friends or himself a few times...

That was so so bad from Michael...
 especially because he knew how Brian blamed himself about it anyway and he knew how Brian felt about Justin... it was the worst he ever could have said to him __________________
