I'm glad to hear that. Always nice to have mind-opening discussions with good, receptive people.

And I think in part Brian was trying to encourage him to stay away and explore himself more..."become the best homosexual he could be"... with his being so adamant about anti-relationships and all that.

I think Brian tried.

I agree. And IDK... I just felt from a very young age it was really important.

Yes it is true that you should be out on your own for a while. I have heard of people marrying young and staying together but it's not the normal. It's good to figure out who you are and who you want to be - sometimes that can be done with someone else in your life and sometimes it can't.

I stand by my opinion that it's not B/J's age difference that is their downfall, but their SPECIFIC respective ages that really hurts them. There's just a huge difference between being a younger adult and an older teenager.

I agree, it's not so much the age difference that is the problem as much it is the different stages in life they're at.

As HOT as they are together, I just see a lot of obstacles to them having been able to work together, long-term.

I think it would have been absolutly no problem if they both met 10 years later so maybe that is what happened when Justin went to NY at the end.. he came back 10 years later all successful and ready to settle down.. hunting Brian down in Babylons office or Kinnetik and there we go

Well, Brian also never had any ~relationship~ (of that kind) experience. So, he'd have to "practice" (or learn, whatever) with someone. They're just both not ready at that point, for sure, but I also see Brian as needing to be with someone to learn how to open up and communicate and stuff like that.

Maybe some time apart to do what they needed to do would help them. It's just from the finale I didn't get the feeling that they would end up back together (despite the we love each other and it's only time speech)

I see their entire relationship as a learning experience. There was bound to be an element of trial and error at play in their union.
