I'm too much the newbie to wax nostalgically with you here, but in that regard would like to offer up this link to the 100K thread. Among other things, it shows what the board looked like in 2002 & has a screenshot of the qaf post counter at 5K (well, 5,125).
also, don't miss post #2 as someone is describing a color in the old board layout as an "ugly puke green" :lmao:
