She did accept it in S 7. She no longer complained about it (any more than having a brood of brats camping in your house would make anyone complain

) and in The Killer in Me she even admitted that she enjoyed her role of Head Slayer.

But true to the buffyverse, the characters rarely had just one feeling about anything

s7? that was the worst Buffy season imo.

all that "slayer walks alone" crap..she even began to say stuff that Faith did when she was evil. Like slayers being better than everyone else.

I can only think about perhaps two episodes that I really disliked buffy in when it comes to season 7 but I have to agree with Callace, season 7 is when she began to fully welcome her place as a slayer.

I somewhat agree with this statement but as for the rest I still don't. For one they made Giles look like a bad guy as well in half of season 2 and 3 with Angel, I recall allot of fans not liking him just because he hated Angel, which this article is similar to in the sense of saying he's become the bad guy cause he dislikes Spike.

As for the journey of Spikes, it just goes to show similarity with the rest of the cast as well, since they followed each character in their own separate journey.

Just my opinion of course.

Well that's an interesting article. I agree that S7 was a mediocre season, but I disagree that Spike is to blame for it.
I cant' really complain about Spike being the focus of so many episodes since he was my favorite

And that's fine..I just think he shouldn't have been featured more than Willow or Xander..back when Angel was on the show he frequently had little screen time..everyone else usually had more (including Cordy)
