Because he is never surprise to still hear her by his side.
Because it'll never be easy to let her go.
Because they both remember the kiss, and enjoyed it.
"As did I, Gideon." was the astonished Rip as he remembered liking their kiss.
"If it's the latter ("our kiss") I rather enjoyed it."
