I'm glad he and Caitlin were able to have scenes together again.

And it also makes sense since she seemed to be aware of Lily's existence in this new timeline.

We actually don't know anything about Lily Stein's life or if Clarissa is even her mother. lol We really just don't know because it hasn't been mentioned.
