I'm so

excited over the fact that my wish right from the start before the series started is that FINALLY development for Ray could happen

Felt so bad for Sara benching him

but guess its true - he didn't have anything to fight with and no powers, he needs to learn to fight - his determination during Mick's zombie status on the ship with Martin was amazing, he was very levelled and kept his cool. So looking forward to further development

Mick giving Ray the Cold Gun

I hope it doesn't last but at the same time really do hope that it becomes that while having the Gun and than realizing it doesn't work for him, Ray can get a little closer to figuring himself out

It's unbelievable how much more I like Ray here than on Arrow, even if the Kendra arc last season was quite dull IMHO.

He's not Captain Cold 2.0 but he's clever and usually naturally enthusiastic and motivated, he'll work something out. I still enjoy Stein's distain of him for some reason despite t he fact that he *has* proved more than some very good grad student he once taught.

I agree, Ray is so improved as a character and I think it just shows the great things that can happen when a character isn't tied down to only romance.
