Allison Mack
began her career at age 4 when her mother made an executive decision that she had the personality to be on TV.
Little did her mom know that she was introducing Allison into what would soon be her greatest passion in life.
What ensued after this introduction has been 24 years of imagination, creativity, introspection and evolution.
Allison has filled her life with characters of all shapes and sizes. From her stage performances
in shows such as “Chicago”, “Rent”, and “Hair’ to films with actors such as Sissy Spacek, Estelle Parsons,
Christopher Lloyd and Aiden Quinn along with the role she is most well known for Chloe Sullivan.

Previously, Chloe worked for a few years as a struggling basement reporter for the Daily Planet,
and then managed the Isis Foundation.

Well, the title isn't entirely accurate since Lana in the comics isn't raven-haired.

She's closer to Chloe in appearance, only a redhead.

Lana Lang is a redhead, and the fact is that Chloe bears much more of a resemblance to Lana from the comics than Kristen's Lana does.

Chloe also shares many similarities with Lois as well, like she's a composite of Lois and Lana from the comics.

Look at this. Does this look familiar?

This is Clark and Lana from the comics, but it looks a lot like a Clark/Chloe scene from Smallville. Just replace Lana's name in this scene with Chloe, and doesn't it seem similar?

Lana calls herself Clark's "oldest, closest friend." Who does that sound more like on the show? The fact is that in addition to being a lot like Lois, Chloe is also a lot more like Lana from the comics as well. Kristen's Lana Lang is a character that I simply do not recognize.

I think it had more to do with the network wanting to promote Kristen at the time, not thinking about what was best of the story or the show.
