Szilivia, if Clark flew in an ep and it worked well with the storyline then I wouldn't mind seeing it. He's flown as Kal-El already so why not as Clark Kent:)?

I think the final scene should be martha finishing the cape, and cut to Clark standing, looking out the barn window opening, and flying to the skies in a blur...a little hint of the John Williams theme maybe in order as well:P

Rachel, I think Kal-El flying and Clark Kent flying are two very different situations. Yes, it's the same physical person doing the flying, but their values and thought processes are not that alike. I did enjoy Kal-El flying, and I really enjoy Clark's 'near flight' moments like the huge jumps, etc. but I'd like to see them really build up Clark's ability to fly since it's such a momentous step for him and for the show as a whole.

Alex, that sounds like a wonderful final scene you've got planned out - any way of sending it to the writers? ;)

That would be a great scene. It's iconic but meaningful. And it's all about Clark and his destiny and not anyone else. If you understand.

The build up has been great. The final push to a flight needs to mean somthing too.

Great caps. He's getting more like his iconic self every ep.

Szilivia, oh I see what you mean and yes it would be nice to get some build up to it. We know that Clark can fly but I think it's his fear of heights that's inhibiting him from flying right now.

Alex, that's a good final scene option, but personally I'd like to see a final scene with Lois that indicates they're together and that she knows his secret:).

That would be great too. But I think the final moment has to be about him being Superman. Have the romance and what not earlier in the ep. But the final shot would feel more right to me if it were about his destiny.

^Yeah that could be good too:nod:. I would understand if they played it like that since it is supposed to be about Clark.

I mean I love Clois I do but the show tends to forget that the story is about Clark. About his journey to his destiny. It needs to be emphasised a little because it's just as important maybe more so.

You make several good points. I'd be open to either ending scenario:).

I think the most important thing is to ground it in the mythos. Then I think everyone will be happy.

^Or at least most people. There's no way they can please everyone.
