Smallville 8x15 "Infamous" Episode Discussion
 

The CW has released the official (spoiler-filled) description of the upcoming 15th episode of Season 8 of "Smallville". Titled "Infamous", this episode is scheduled to air in the U.S. at 8.00pm on Thursday, March 12th on The CW.

TORI SPELLING RETURNS AS LINDA LAKE — Linda Lake (guest star Spelling) returns to Metropolis and threatens to expose Clark’s (Tom Welling) secret unless he promises to give her exclusive information on the red-blue blur so she can become a star reporter again. Refusing to be blackmailed, Clark tells Lois (Erica Durance) his secret and asks her to write his story for The Daily Planet.

She’ll soon be stopping by the zip code that made her famous, but first Tori Spelling returns to CW’s “Smallville” as gossip reporter Linda Lake at 8 p.m. on WLVI [website] (Ch. 56). She threatens to expose Clark’s secret (really, who doesn’t know by now?) and inadvertently brings Clark and Lois (Erica Durance) closer.

Nearly forgot it's on tomorrow. That hiatus seemed to have last forever!!!

The sneak peeks, previews, and pics are all amazing. So can't wait for this episode. It's gonna be killer.

Still not sure how I feel about Linda Lake coming back. She wasn't really one of my fave. characters even though she happens to appear in the Clois eps for some reason.

Finally, we're getting a new episode. It's been forever.

I wish I didn't have class during the show. I have to record it and watch it when I get home.

It was an okay episode nothing too exciting. I just think that the whole going back in time storyline is over-played too much.

Glad Linda Lake is finally gone for good. She was never an appealing character for me.

The only thing that kept me going was seeing Davis/Doomsday and all of the Clois scenes even though those were heartbreaking at times.

What kind of Clois scenes? :flowers:

Clark telling Lois his secret.

Lois being mad that he would reverse time.

Lois helping Clark battle Linda Lake while he was down on kyrptonite poisoning.

Lois getting rid of the K.

And then L&C being all awkward around each other- wanting to forget their moment at Chloe's wedding but not really.

And then meeting for coffee but Clark bailed and said he was busy with a story.

First off, I loved the episode. I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed Smallville. It was a fun ride and an enjoyable episode, and i'm glad Linda bit the dust.

I use to really like the Chloe/Davis dynamic, but, it isn't doing anything for me anymore. :shrug: Maybe next week might change my mind.

I thought the Clois was amazing, my favorite being the Barn scene. I loved that Lois was as loyal as she was. It's so good to have her back, (although she's not on again next week, ugh.) Now I loved the last Clois scene. Clark looking across at Lois. They both obviously feel the same way, but both of them aren't ready yet. Which is great, because I don't want Clark rushing into another relationship just yet, he needs to realize that the relationship with Lois, will be different then all the others, and that it will work in ways the others weren't able to achieve.

Does anyone know what the coda song was? It seemed to fit the scene perfectly, and really sounded familiar to me, but I can't place it no how. :blush:
