Smallville 8x14 "Requiem" Episode Discussion
The CW has released the official (spoiler-filled) description of the upcoming 14th episode of Season 8 of "Smallville". Titled "Requiem", this episode is scheduled to air in the U.S. at 8.00pm on Thursday, February 5th on The CW.
"An explosion at LuthorCorp kills all the Board members and injures Oliver (Justin Hartley), who was there to announce the merger of his company with LuthorCorp. Oliver believes that Lex is responsible for the blast, but Clark (Tom Welling) and Lana (Kristin Kreuk) learn that the bomber is Winslow Schott (guest star Chris Gauthier), a toymaker and former Queen Industries employee with a grudge against Oliver." Written by Holly Henderson and Don Whitehead Directed by Michael Rohl Meanwhile, TV Guide has the following description for this same episode... An explosion at LuthorCorp injures Oliver, who suspects Lex is at fault. But Clark and Lana discover the culprit is Oliver's former employee Winslow Schott (Chris Gauthier), a toymaker harboring a grudge against his old boss. Thanks for the new thread. Can't wait for tonight's ep. It's gonna be awesome to see Toyman. He totally creeped me out in the Superman animated series.

I cant stop crying. Oh my god I balled my eyes out you have no idea. Clana are such a tragic couple. It was just wow. Every time I think of the episode I cry again.

The toy man-creepy!! Love the Lex picture and the Lex mentions. Oliver going to own Luthorcorp? Crazy how Oliver knew that a blast was going to happen. Shirtless Clark…yum! Clark mentioning Jonathan and Martha..so sad. Clark mentioning Lex! Clark thinking that Lex was behind the attack..so sad! Clark at Luthorcorp! Oliver hiding something again? Clark doesn’t trust Oliver anymore because he wanted to kill Lex. Lex still watching through the toys? Crazy!! Explosives in toys? Crazy! Oliver wants to be led to Lex? Oliver knows that Clark would never be able to kill Lex…Oliver knows that Lex is coming after Clark. Chloe mentioning the moment that Clark saved Lex!! Lex would never target Clark to kill him!! I love hearing that Lex is alive…never gets old! DP Lex’s next target? Clark wants to find Lex!! Clark tracking Lex!! Lex saying Clark’s Name!! Clark did not destroy Lex!! Clark doesn’t want to kill Lex and he knows it!! Lex is not dead…not, not, not! Oliver didn’t do the right thing!!! It can’t be over…it will never be over! Clex!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lex never meant to hurt Clark! Why did Clark do that? Horribly Sad episode…I don’t know what else to say.
