Yep and with her he's just a totally different person, for the better. Right from the beginning, he was able to be different with her then he's ever been with anyone else. When Lois first came on, it was so refreshing to watch!

the first 2 seasons of TNAoS they had to develop their relationship....Smallville had a larger time frame for them to do that...I like the longer time frame of establishing relationships myself .

Case In Point...my now-late -grandma met this jerk very old dude...and they got married the next year. He caused her a lot of stress if affected her medically. I honestly can't remember who passed away first ...it probably was my grandmother

Both are my favorite versions of Clois. With TNAoS was different because they were older and we didn't need to keep dealing with Lana.

well it's two different shows... actually Clark/ Lana/ Lex were the main characters of Smallville and TNaS it was just Lois and Clark...Lex was in 2 seasons....

^ Yep and Lex on Smallville is miles better than TNAOS version.
Clark/Lana/Lex were the main characters for the first 7 seasons. Last three would probably be Clark/Lois/Oliver or Clark/Lois/Chloe/Oliver.

I still like Teri/ Dean more.... but glad we got lots more Erica/ Tom smallville seasons and they were friends for a long time before being romantic.
