I always thought it was so interesting they went to boarding school together.

People were really chatting mostly in the ship threads in the past. lol and the Chloe, and Lois singular threads. lol

But yeah, their boarding school days played a huge role in how they became as they grew up.

I like that they kept Oliver's background... I think it's pretty clear to everyone who knows Oliver that he was just a huge jerk in his past, and of course the Island changed him to a better person.... however, it seems it was Duncan death and the Island on Smallville.

Lex wanting to be friends with Oliver and the others.

And betraying his own friend for it.

Oliver's background is really interesting to me

I like that they added Duncan's death, because it didn't just change Oliver but Lex too.

Serious question, but how did it change Lex?

I guess it made him not want to be friends with Oliver and those jocks or probably not be a follower?

Lex sadly seems the same way but darker.

Yeah I meant that he became even darker

I don't think it changed him in a positive way sadly. He didn't feel so guilty that he changed his life around, he just continued the same way

You'd think a moment like that would've made him better.

I feel that he stayed the same and he was still sort of good but of course eventually his obsession with Clark messed it all up.

When you think about their history, it's interesting that Oliver and Clark eventually became friends, while Clark and Lex became enemies
