Laura Vandervoort/Kara Zor-El Appreciation#2 "It's really easy...Up, up and away!"
Hello and welcome to the Laura Vandervoort Appreciation Thread!                 Smallville Magazine Issues 23 and 24 covers!       We will follow the same principles we enforced when Erica Durance was announced for Lois Lane before S4. I think that is a very generous precident, it will allow people to take notice of this thread, and still give you something to discuss while we await for S7 to start up. The most important rule to remember is NOT to discuss any actual episode spoilers. By now everyone knows that Laura has been cast as Kara Zor-El, Clark's long lost cousin from Krypton. However we will not be discussing specific episode spoilers about her character. If you are eager to discuss those, be reminded we have a great thread on the Spoilers Board that Cris and a few others maintain, we encourage you to stop by and discuss that material there. Please follow these rules, it makes the job that Cris and myself have to do a lot easier. As far as the fan listing...we will get everyone on the list, just be patient. How to get on the list? Just introduce yourself and ask to be put on the list. Banners & FanArt, since this is a work in progress thread, we will be looking for everyone's contributions to the thread, and we will be adding/taking away material as we go until we've got the best ones. Keep in mind not all promotional images have been released for S7. So decorations are subject to change. Most important, have fun posting here and celebrating Laura and the character she will be portraying on SV starting S7!  ...plus it's still in it's "early stages"...needs special looking after right now. I'm sure by S8, others will be on top of it__________________

OMG I'm like freaking out here. I just notice that Laura was in two Disney Channel movies. Alley Cat Strike and Mom's Got A Date with a Vampire! I totally didn't know that!

I used to watch (for a brief time) Instant Star... and Sadie was kinda mostly a bitch.
 Since she was dating Jude's crush... and just her overall persona. But, she seemed to mellow out towards the end. I stopped watching. For a brief time, I had a crazy addiction to The-N. Degrassi, South of Nowhere, Beyond the Break, O'Grady, IS, and many more... it was bad. Now, it's been reduced to occasional Degrassi... and South of Nowhere (the only good show on the network... and it's been cancelled!   )Has Laura been signed on for S8 officially? Or is she like another Lois with only a half season committment? __________________
