What is in Lana's future?
I know the history for Clark and Lex but is Lana's supposed to be assuming the show keeps with the mythology of the characters? Does Lana get involved with Lex? Someone please tell me.

Well the writers in Smallville have went far off from the comic books, that anything is possible, they have practically written their own entire story, using Superman as the main storyline, but making the characters, the plot and the storyline their own, not true to the original, so I say why not let Clark & Lana get together, it isn't going to screw anything up (LOL)

See, now this is why I find Chloe to be a far more interesting character, since her future is undecided [ 04-06-2004: Message edited *Sugi* ] __________________

And in the comics, Clark ends up marrying Lois Lane (who isn't Chloe changing her name, according to Gough), Lex becomes evil, and Lana marries Pete. They have a son they call Clark. __________________

More pining over Clark until at least the end of this season until she wises up, turns eighteen, and falls in love with Lex.

I'm pretty sure I read something about Lex having Lana tortured for info on Clark. Which means Lana knew about Kent's powers while Pete didn't. That's one thing that's a little different. __________________

In the comics she is just in the process of divorcing Pete (who is president of the United States btw) and who is fighting her for custody of their son *drumroll* little Clark. BTW the reason they are seperated is because Lana kissed (big) Clark while under the influence of some alien mindsucker thing.
According to Chuck Austen she will have a strong reoccuring role in Superman: Action Comics. |

Yeah, I'd also love for Lana to leave Smallville behind her. For different reasons though.
*ahem* Anyway, the role she plays in SV is probably going to have an effect in the comics. Depending on how far DC will change things, I'm hoping that they can handle her character a little better than the SV writers do. Jamie __________________

I wouldn't mind if Lana left Smallville. In fact, I encourage it. She just needs to stop sucking and I support any way that lets that happen. Death seems like the only thing that will redeem her to me at this point. Although, knowing us, we'd probably speak very ill of the dead.
