So I saw the episode this morning and all I can say is, WOW!

Clark: It's hard to find the right words for him. We all know the man he was and the man he will be and to see him lose faith and doubt is really something. Smallville has given us a great journey from man to Superman and now that Clark's hope is restored it will be great to see him move forward. And I'm glad that the suit was brought up during his and Mrs. K's conversation.

Lois: Her scene with Martha was perfect. Considering what they've been through no true words needed to be said. Lois is the daughter Martha never had and Martha is the mother Lois needed.

Chloe: Though I've always seen Chloe as a background character I gotta say that I enjoyed her in this episode everything from her talk with Martha to her and Lois showing Clark those vids and then re-opening Watchtower. I've always wanted Chloe to be the villian and while I will never forgive her for that Doomsday fiasco I'm glad that out of all of the people in Clark's life, Chloe has been one to stand by her best friend.

Tess: Cassidy totally brought her worth in this episode. The thing I've always loved about Tess is that you can always see her emotions by the look in her eyes. Her interraction with Lionel was heartwrenching. And I loved how she pretty much thanked Clark for saving her life.

Martha: Ma Kent returned! I am so glad that she came to support Clark and the other superheroes. She had some great scenes. Loved the one with her and Lois and then her and Lionel was intense!

Lionel: It's always such a treat to have John Glover and here he was amazing.

Alexander: It's easy to forget that Gabriel Lucas came out in that crapshoot High School musical because his role as Alexander is impressive. He impressed me the first time he appeared and his role here was no exception.

The Luthor Mansion: It's gone, I can't believe it! It brought tears to my eyes and just thinking of it brings me to tears as well. First the Talon and now this. This place was the central spot and now it's turned to ash. So many great things went on here dating back to Lex's secret room where he investigated Clark to now the final straw where Clone Lex torched the place. I just can't believe it's gone!

Beacon of Hope: Shining Light on the Truth: I just want to congradulate those whose videos got selected. I had wanted to do it, I had even tried several attempts but I'm more of a behind the scenes girl. This segment brought tears to my eyes. Everyone said the words that I feel for the Blur too and they said it better than I ever could (I suck at talking). Out of all the scenes this was one of my favorites because it got fans to be apart of it and on a more bittersweet note it makes the whole series ending that much sadder. I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing because who would ever want this show to end to begin with?!

And then who better to have in this scene than Clark, his best friend, and his fiance? It was perfect.

The VRA Bill: Smallville has had great storylines in the past but this storyline has been one of my favorites because it has truly made me feel apart of it and then to watch Chloe, Ollie, Martha, Clark and Lois await the verdict on the VRA- it felt as if I was in the room right there with them and I just cheered along with them when it was announced that our heroes wouldn't be fugitives anymore.

Final Thoughts: Season 10 has been incredible but this episode, Clois episodes aside, has certainly become my favorite. I give this episode beyond a 10+. Thank you Smallville!

I've NEVER watched HSM, so I didn't recognize him from there, until I saw some pictures and I always knew of Vanessa H., that girl from Hellcats, and Zac Efron, and than there was everyone else LOL, but ya anyways awesome he reprise his role from Season 6, good acting, and this Season is pretty intense! Liking it so far and trying to stay spoiler free, and yay for another episode of Chloe in it :)

Overall I enjoyed this episode too and I really loved the part with all the videos of people showing their support for the Blur. It was awesome for Clark to see that he does inspire people and give them hope and there are people out there who are willing to fight for him in the same way he fights for them everyday.

I also loved Martha's scenes, particulary her scene at the rally and her scene with Lois where she told her that she's always been impressed by her and that she's a perfect fit for Clark:love:. I love it that she's completely on board with the wedding:D. Also passing her that locket was a nice touch. Oh and Martha telling Clark at the end of the ep that he is the light was amazing.

I also liked it that they brought back the whole Luthor angle and I thought John Glover did a great job once again. I loved the rescue scene when Clark saved Martha then they had a silent conversation where Clark was kind of like "Mom do I have to save him?" And she's all "You know you have to, Clark" then Clark saves Lionel and throws him out on his ass:lol:.

The Chlo-Lo was also enjoyable in this ep and I liked seeing them work together to use their strengths and help Clark out.

Last but not least, there wasn't much Clois in this ep, but I did enjoy the scenes we got with them. I liked how homey the first scene was with Clark calling out for Lois and looking for her as soon as he got home and Lois tugging on Clark's hand to lead him in front of the tv. Then I loved how Lois told Clark that he's the American hero everyone needs and their long hug in the last scene with Clark thanking her for everything she does for him:love:.

And with that said I'm looking forward to the next ep:).

scififan2009 12-23-2018 09:57 AM

I was just happy to finally see an end to the VRA.

And I think it was also around that time they announced Rosenbaum would be coming back.

Got kinda hyped for the last half.
