Just watched Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, and according to that film, Batman seemed to have absolutely no knowledge of WW (even though he was alive in the 80s). Also that movie made it seem like she had not been active in 100 years or so (if I understood correctly).

Anyone know if WW III will be set in the present?

yes...Batman vs. Superman mislead us.... but also die hard fans who read comics and follow her through other media other than movies knew Wonder Woman has been active through time....and even on alternate earths. This is yet another good reason why Wonder Woman 2 was set in 84... she wasn't just hiding and moving from one job to another all those years... where were adversaries....so far 5 of them.... the general she killed off does count.

in DC Movie universe earth....you are correct, Batman was just a kid in 84 and was focused on becoming Batman after his parents were killed off and didn't focus on metahuman and alien activity until Superman arrival.

Well, there’s not much analyzing of the timeline to be done when the year is part of the movie’s title.

Also, WW’s superhero inactivity for a century was brought up again in Justice League. However, I might have forgotten those details if I hadn't rewatched the Justice League films.
