Smallville 8x07 "Identity" Episode Discussion
The 7th episode of "Smallville" Season 8 airs in the U.S. on Thursday, October 30th, 2008 at 8.00pm. Titled "Identity", here's the official (spoiler filled) description from The CW...
"Jimmy (Aaron Ashmore) snaps a picture of Clark (Tom Welling) super-speeding to save Lois (Erica Durance) from a mugger and manages to catch a red and blue blur on film. Jimmy shows it to Tess (Cassidy Freeman) who decides to run it on the front page of the Daily Planet. Clark fears his identity will be discovered so he asks Chloe (Allison Mack) to run interference with Jimmy, but she refuses." Written by - Todd Slavkin and Darren Swimmer time for the other team of executive producers to deliver since Brian and Kelly did with PREY Directed by - Mairzee Almas Meanwhile, TV Guide has the following description for this same episode... Clark fears his identity may be revealed after Jimmy snaps a photo of him saving Lois from a mugger. Clark asks Chloe for help to prevent the picture from running on the front page, but to no avail. Yeah, I think they are really reaching with it. Last episode, I get it where both of them were upset, but I do think after all of this time Chloe should trust Clark and forgive him and move on. Now it seems the creative team is going to exploit it and go with it for a while longer.

I'd think it's being re-opening this episode. They both forgave each other in the last episode and I think that's done and over with. But I don't think Clark shares Chloe's opinion on the alter ego thing.

Excellent this should be another good episode and another step for Clark to become Superman.
I agree with sweet zelda, although their last disagreement was resolved in Prey, I guess that Clark is start going wonder why Chloe is not helping him as much as she use to do. Ahhh Smallville drama, sometimes it can be good or bad hopefully this episode will be one of the better ones. __________________
