I know, it's so cute. I guess it's to avoid the hair going to the dog's eye. I sometimes do that to my dog when I have no time to go the groomers just yet.

Most likely the dog is due for a trim but maybe James doesn't have time to go to the groomers yet so he put a clip (for now).

I do that with my dog too. I put a clip on his hair when his hair reaches his eyes.

Sometimes I won't have time to get him to the groomers and I tend to put it off too.

M dog's hair is full grown in 4 months after a cut so he normally only gets a cut 2x a year. I would know it's time for a cut when I see him shed his hair.

I get super lazy to go the groomers sometimes.

The twins are currently in Australia.
