OK, I used this title because the other one didn't fit within the limit, and plus, Belle liked it more with the "period." Tweaked it a bit, too, for grammatical reasons. 2 : a close relationship between two persons in which sexual desire is nonexistent or has been suppressed or sublimated

Am really loving that defintion of "Platonic Love," because it indulges the more idealistic aspects of my personality, as I think love should ascend FROM passion into the contempation of the universal and ideal...

Ascending FROM passion suggests that there is passion there to begin with, n'est-ce pas?

Another thing. the second definiton, the thing about supressed love...

Screams of Hermione to me. We don't know what Hermione feels exactly as she isn't really open abot these things. I'm very much of the mind that Hermione deliberately surpresses her feelings for Harry because she refuses to hurt Ron; since any idiot can see that Ron has a crush on her. Once Ron gets over this, then Hermione can be all that much more open about her feelings.

Now, with Harry, the idea of him supressing his feelings is a lot more complicated, since we see from his POV, and we never see any inwards struggle.

The thing is, we only ever see into Harry's concious, not subconcious. His subconcious is a completely different thing. I find that sometimes we can tell oour concious something, but our subconcious knows that we're only lying to ourselves.

I can tell myself a million times that I do not have any feelings whatsoever for Nat *coughs,* but my subconcious knows that I'm only lying to myself, and that secretly I'm in love with Nat...

Or not.

Harry can very well be supressing his feelings subconciously for the same reasons that Hermione is: Ron. Ron and Harry are best mates! A best friend will never go for the girl his best friend is crushing over. Its the law of nature. And you defy that law, and there's hell to pay...

Alas. I'm getting too lazy to delve further into this.

@Circe: I really don't know about that "Platonic-love" statement. I really don't understand where or who?..made that word up. It doesn't make sense for H/hr ship. why can H/Hr ship be more then just "Platonic" how about "Love at first sight" or "True love" for them. Sorry, that is my expression and opinion, when i re-read Hps books. I always thought that H/Hr are "destiny" to be together.


anyway, can anyone knows why or when? did Hermione fell for Harry. I think, for me. she fell for Harry from first sight, when she saw him on train compartment..(book1) when she fix his glasses and said that "you better put on your robe" you notice from re-read book 1 and movie. Why didn't she said it to ron? and why did she have to said to Harry that. When Harry doesn't know why or what so important to "put on robe" for.

CAN ANYONE TELL ME THAT?....OR MAYBE I AM OVERACT WITH THIS..

Hello! We meet again.

There is a fabulous new essay on the Portkey Forums that deals with Harry's subconscious feeling towards Hermione. It's balls on, uber squee-worthy, and short. The replys on the thread had some really astounding observations as well.

I haven't recommended a lot of stuff here, I don't do it causually, but I think that all Auror's simply must check out this thread.

P.S. Plus, I love that it deals with how much Harry Loves Hermione, instead of the other way around. (props to KateJ - just cus )
