While it's not the primary focus, I feel like they're probably setting up the relationships because there's gonna be a SL for that in the next movies. And that's why I think we'll never get any backstory with either Tina/Queenie or Newt/Theseus because their families are not of importance to the SL. I guess we'll just have to hope that there'll be some mention or flashback if a current SL has the need for it.

Right now there's no need for it but I really do hope we'll get more Tina/Queenie scenes. We've gotten more Jacob/Newt for both movies. Heck we even got more of Newt/Theseus too, I think.

Hopefully when they rescue Queenie from Grindelwald, Tina will be front and center and leading them to help her sister.
