Same here w/ my brother who never read the series, but he knows I do.. Even he asked me if he's good guy or bad guy. .i was like I dunno.. I mean, why would I spoil it for him.. Bec he said that Snape seems complicated guy when it comes to Harry, but same w/ Dumberoble whenever he had scene w/ him..

Early on I thought that he was the 'bad guy'. But then why would he be a Hogwarts Professor and be evil right? And then of course it was maybe because he's not too fond of Harry being "The Chosen One". I mean Harry is 'popular' in Hogwarts. And then of course by the time DH came, we find out that Harry's eyes remind him of Lily. :(

Yeah, exactly.. And I remember when I read the book.. I was like is he good guy or what.. I feel like he could be double agent like he's good in school, but work for bad.. Instead we know the whole story..

Although he's a good professor, he's just quite scary.

That's true.. If he's my prof, I would drop out.. But can't since you gonna take it..

I know what you mean. He's super scary and if I was a Hogwarts student attending Potions class, I'd fail that class out of nervousness for him.

Same here.. One thing that I love in the beginning, most students say that he want to to get that class to teach bec he want to know more about dark magic or something like that..

Snape has been 'shady' in the beginning cause he's always portrayed as the "mean" teacher. So I was glad for the latter books which explained why he is the way he is.

I know right.. I was like something not right.. But I'm glad that it was explain in the book..

Bawl.. It been a year.. :(

L i N d $ @ y 06-01-2017 09:07 PM

He passed away January 2016 and I just remember how a lot of people were so shocked. At least most people didn't know he has cancer as Alan's always been a private person so yeah, it was understandable all the shock upon his death. :(

fly me to the moon 06-02-2017 05:08 PM

Same.. I was so shock.. I was like what?!?!?!

L i N d $ @ y 06-02-2017 11:16 PM

Right? I think most people were really in shock cause we didn't know he has cancer. And he died too young too. :(

The worst cancer ever :(:(:(:(
