Narcissa Malfoy/Helen McCrory Appreciation #1: Because she's loyal to her family
Welcome to the Narcissa Black-Malfoy Appreciation Thread  Credit Narcissa Malfoy (née Black), (b. 1955) was a pure-blood dark witch, the wife of Lucius Malfoy, the mother of Draco Malfoy, and the younger sister of Bellatrix Lestrange and Andromeda Tonks. Although never officially a Death Eater herself, Narcissa believed in the importance of blood purity and supported her husband in following Lord Voldemort during the First and Second Wizarding Wars. This changed, however, when her husband was incarcerated in Azkaban and her son's life was put in jeopardy by Voldemort. Narcissa took necessary measures to protect her family, including lying to Voldemort about Harry Potter being dead during the Battle of Hogwarts, an act which saved the Malfoys from serving time in Azkaban following the Dark Lord's defeat. I do have doubts about her, but I'm waiting eagerly to see Spinner's End.

well maybe she'll prove us wrong. its not how i pictured Narcissa either but we all just have to wait and see.

I don't think that Helen McCrory would fit Narcissa, I've always considered her to play Andromeda.

Thanks for starting the new thread!
  This is me jumping for joy that the part has finally been cast. I don't know much about this actress, but I've been pleased with all of the casting choices thus far, so I have no reason to doubt this choice. I'm sure she'll be great!  __________________

and we all know that Narcissa helped Harry in the end. so you know what, i don't really hate her. actually, i love the Malfoys!
