J.K. Rowling hand-wrote a minibook based off Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, which was sold for charity back in 2004. Some of the pages were released by the series' UK publisher Bloomsbury, which will be reselling the small book, just 31 pages long and 1.6ins by 2.4ins in size, and can be seen below. Do note that there is no new information, just fun illustrations and tidbits from the first installment in the series. No word yet on where the sales for the Bloomsbury auction, on December 14th, will go, or who will benefit from it.

That's the thing with this franchise. They can release so many stuff and for sure people are going to buy. It's been around for so long and with lots of fans, It'll be hard for it to ever really be forgotten. And the fact that Jo is continuing to expand via FBAWTFT also keeps the franchise afloat.

Yeah, that's true plus I have see the recently book that come w/ pictures.. But damn, it was so heavy!

Oh yeah, I keep forgetting that you haven't read all the books and you don't have all the books yet. I think they're cheaper now. And the covers are also much better. We have all 7 books here (hard bound, UK cover) for $200. But that was a while ago and I haven't checked if it's still available here. Is that cheap?
