HAHA! It's actually feasible to finish the book in a day but I also like to take my time and don't want to rush things. It's the same when I binge-watch too.

I was also excited to just read anything about HP back then because it has been such a long time in-between DH and CC.

However I do wish it was JKR who "wrote" CC. I understand why she probably didn't have a hand in writing it but just oversaw the play as I know she doesn't want to write for HP anymore but still...it's her books and her writing so she should've written CC.

She did okay the story but yeah...I wonder if it would've been different too. Probably not that different but the dialogue for sure would be different.

Yeah she wanted to tell Cursed Child story via a play instead of writing a book about it or turning it into a TV show. The only downside is that only a few people from all over the world will see the play unlike if it's a TV show or a book.
