I remember reading about that and not quite believing that Dumbledore is really dead. UGH, HBP is so heartbreaking!

How about when Sirius died in this book? Did you see that coming? I was kind of hoping he'd be together with Harry but just when things looked like that was gonna happen, of course Bellatrix kills Sirius (and they were cousins too, can you believe?).

Same. I was heartbroken. I hate that Harry had to see another loved one die. And this time he was much older to really know and remember it.

Harry is really meant to have a tragic life. From his parents dying and then Sirius and then Dumbledore and Snape.

Right? He just needs to be loved. Sadly, Harry didn't grow up seeing his parents alive but at least he was very much loved (except for the Dursleys) outside of his family.

Yes because Sirius is the closest family he'll ever get because Sirius & James were close (and I'm sure Sirius & Lily too).

I think maybe Sirius & Lily are close but of course not to the extent that James & Lily are. I can imagine Remus & Sirus teasing James a lot back then though.
