I'll try to find pics that are somewhat new so it's difficult to predict.

But I wonder, it looks like Eddie doesn't cut his hair anymore to do the movies? Or at least he just maintains his hair now?

I think they ask him to grow out his hair a bit and don't cut it too short because I don't recall a lot of men hairstyles like Newt in that era. They're usually polished and short but he is a Magizoologist so Newt won't care for his appearance.
