Yes but what was the explanation for him having that creature in his eye? Newt & Tina removed it but I don't remember now if it was explained why Yusuf had that in his eye in the first place.

I think that they did mention that after remove it, but again, I don't remember it..

Okay I found an explanation online:

Yeah though that's a weird way to make a pact and also something new. Why would he make an Unbreakable Vow and who did he make the pact with?

Yes, if you break it, you get killed. Seems to me at that time you can easily destroy the pact.

I need to re-watch part 1 and try to understand how that creature inside Yusuf's eye became an Unbreakable Vow and who did he end up making the pact with.

I think I'll do the same. I just randomly watched part 1 a few days ago and also part 2 but never really sat to watch the whole thing. I'll properly watch all 3 movies soon.

Plus I keep forgetting that Yusuf is Leta's brother. I only remembered when it was mentioned here and also when I "slightly" re-watched part 2 a few weeks ago.
