BBC finally unveiled more information about the television adaptations J.K Rowling and Robert Galbraith's Strike books, now officially titled ‎The Cormoran Strike Mysteries. The first Strike novel, The Cuckoo's Calling, will be adapted to screen by Sarah Phelps, who wrote the screenplay for the Harry Potter author's first book for adults, The Casual Vacancy. The Silkworm, the second in the series, will be written by Ben Richards. No word yet on who will adapt the third book of the series, Career of Evil, as it has not been released in book form yet. There is still no word on casting for the series - including the two leads, Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott - or when the television films will be produced and broadcast.
