Thank goodness this happened inside of Hogwarts because what if this happened outside of Hogwarts and other wizards reported him? In HBP he was still underage right (meaning he still can't use magic outside of Hogwarts)? And even if he's allowed to use magic outside of Hogwarts that time, if other wizards saw what he did, they might report him and get him sent to Azkaban. I mean look what happened when he "blew up" his aunt.

And we know that if Harry used magic outside of Hogwarts, the Dursleys will report him too. No wonder Harry would prefer to just stay at Hogwarts during the break.

It's sad that Harry is much safer inside Hogwarts than outside and with the Dursleys.

Imagine being treated like that by the Dursleys. They don't care for Harry and is only keeping him around because he's family. Harry's better off without them.

Where will Harry go and stay? He doesn't have any more relatives. He could stay at the Burrow with the Weasleys but I'm sure if he does that, the Dursleys will report him as missing and the police will look for him and the Weasleys (who will do the right thing) will probably tell muggle police what happened.

If I was Harry, I"ll ask permission to stay at the Weasleys so I can get out of the Dursley business since they don't want Harry around anyway. If they refuse, then yes, I'll ask Ron and his brothers to kidnap me like they did in CoS.

Yes the Weasleys tried to kidnap Harry and it sort of worked but they were caught. No one was hurt so the Dursleys can't really report it.
