I've always thought Sirius was Remus' wingman when Remus fancied someone.

Tbh I can't see Remus dating that many girls, but I can see Sirius trying to get him some girlfriends. But I don't think he would want anyone to know about his condition (he didn't even want the marauders to find out), so he wouldn't date anyone for too long, because eventually that person would find out about him.

Thanks for the fic. I just read it, and I liked that they addressed the age difference between Remus and Tonks as well. Most of the time I forget about that.

That's one of my favorite things about that fic too. I'm okay with the age difference because Tonks was in her twenties when they met. If she had been at Hogwarts when Remus taught it would have been a different story.

I agree that Sirius probably tried to help him get some girlfriends. I'm not sure if he was ever serious about anyone besides Tonks. He might have had a serious relationship with Dorcas Meadowes.

Oh that would be terrible. I think that as long as they are both adults, the age difference is not that weird.

I've read fics where Remus and Dorcas are a thing.

I think it's mainly because I've read fanfics about Dorcas/Remus. For some reason I can't explain, I don't think Tonks and Remus were each other's first loves, & Dorcas would probably have been in her 20s too.

Oh okay. I haven't really thought about them and have always thought to myself that Tonks was his one true love. Though it would also make sense since they're both at the Order.

I've read fanfics of him with Dorcas and also with Emmeline Vance. I can see Remus dating someone from the Order, like Dorcas, and then things ending badly for the two of them.

Aww that class was one of my favorite moments on the book. Remus was such a great teacher, I'm sad he didn't get to do it for more than a year.

He was a wonderful teacher! I think if he had lived, like he was originally supposed to, Professor McGonagall would have made him the permanent D.A.D.A. teacher.
