It was. Newt drank the potion before going inside the Ministry? Also, how did he have a Polyjuice Potion? Those things take some time to do.

But he is a skilled wizard so maybe he had done plenty of that potion...

I guess you can buy it somewhere? I think Newt knows some sources to get ingredients because he needs herbs and other stuff for his animals too.

^ Yes so either he already had one and thought of drinking it so he can get inside the Ministry or bought one because those potions take a long time to do.

That's possible although it did come in quite conveniently too. I mean, it's not everyday wizards use the Polyjuice potion.

I'll chalk it up to Newt being a skilled wizard cause he is and has probably mastered making the Polyjuice Potion.

I do love that Theseus knew right away that his brother was up to something when he saw him inside the Ministry looking like him.
