Exactly. Like I remember having Coloured Grey at first but then it closed. And while it sucked that it closed we had H&V to fall back on. But with this one so many of those fics are just gone (unless the authors post them again) because so many only posted them at H&V. And there isn't another site like it to fall back on.

True. And naturally I just assumed that the site will just be there forever. Heck, that's the only site I actually had an account so I can read DHr fics.

I felt that way too. It just seemed like it would be a forever website kinda thing. But I guess a part of me kinda knew it could happen and that's why eventually I started saving the fics I like. I'm sure I'm missing a lot but I also got quite a bit.

It was really worth it to have an account there.

Nope. I think everythursday was actually one of the authors who only posted her stories at H&V.

Someone in the fandom might have some pdf files of it though. If I find some I'll let you know.

Yeah now when I read the books or watch the movies I can't accept that they didn't get more scenes together They are perfect for one another!

That's me too but I do think what little we did get was pretty awesome. Like him protecting her and telling her to keep her head down, her thinking of him and losing track of things, him protecting her (and the others) in the scene with Bella, etc.

I definitely think there was a foundation there for D/Hr and a really interesting dynamic and storyline but I was pretty sure they would never become canon. Though as much as I would have loved for them to be canon I don't think JKR would have done them justice the way fanfic writers do.

If only we could watch fanfics.

I really need to do a rewatch and reread. It's been so long. But I have to be honest as much as I love HP in general I do find myself much more interested in reading fic than rereading the books or watching the movies.

And I started thinking... I probably shouldn't have used canon in my other post as D/Hr stuff is canon (since it did happen) but I mean canon in the sense of JKR writing them as actually dating.

Not sure if I've ever read that one. Do you have a link?

I don't think I could pick an absolute favorite since there are way too many to choose from but I will say whenever someone asked for recommendations The Fallout was always the first one I think of. So it's definitely at the top of my list.
