In the books but my shipper mind thinks it's just a banter because he secretly loves her.

idk how true it is but it is rumored to be said that JK Rowling has stated that Draco was meaner to Hermione because he had feelings for her, and to deter those feelings he was cruel to her. I like to believe it to be true

I think I should add that she felt it was mainly for Tom. And I would have to disagree with her on that. Don't get me wrong Tom is good looking but it really had nothing to do with my love for Draco. And what little it did was far behind other stuff. And so many others felt the same.

Tom knows his character very well and I give him credit for that. Honestly, my liking Draco really has a lot to do with Tom too.

I like Draco in the books and movie. There was so much opportunity to show more with him. And what we did get of his background and etc. made me want to know more and see how everything goes. HBP especially. It's my fave HP book just because we get more on Draco.

Me too. HBP had a huge focus on Draco although the movie was a disappointment Draco-wise cause he did so much more than just stand around and be mysterious in the movie.

It is. It's one of my favorite HP books too, right next to DH.
