The one I saw didn't have a glass, it was just a cage so I was pretty amazed.

I think that was the reason why he wrote a book about the beasts that they shouldn't be kill, but I think that ever since he passed plus there are some wizard hunters prob want to kill them for reason, but still..

Yes you're right about his reason for writing his book.
While illegal, he's protecting these creatures from threats by wizard hunters and muggles.__________________

Yes. These creatures are being neglected or abused by muggles/no maj and here's Newt always taking care of them.
