Dobby is my all time favourite character, I still cry everytime I see DH Part I

I really wan't too fond of Dobby at first (I'm not keen on elves) but all that changed eventually.

I just find them mean (generally). Until Dobby that is. Sometimes I do find him irritating but Dobby's a special elf. :)

Alrighty. I don't have that much experience on elves that I could find them generally anything really. But Dobby is special, isn't he. :nod:

Thanks so much for making this thread! I've always adored Dobby and I think his death was so unfair. Not that any other character's death is fair, but I feel like Dobby dying was mostly for shock/tragic value and he should have lived. However, I'm greatful he was in the books and while I too was never that big on other elves I always loved and admired Dobby.

It's really because of what I read from books or see on TV. I didn't like Santa's elves either. :lol:
