I think that's like the phase where you either live or die and for a while it did look like Harry died and magic also helped him to live with the aid of Dumbledore, his parents, Sirius, Remus, etc.

And I think it was touching that he saw all of his loved one when he was in limbo and that kept him alive. So many of them died for him.
