I'm sure they became the best of friends post-Hogwarts. Which reminds me, I have to read up about what happened to Dean. Did he marry and what did he end up doing later on in his life...?

I don't mind it if every fandom has LGBTQ characters, we need representation. What I don't get is people shipping gay couples just because.

And that too. I hate it when TV shows queerbait. If they're gay, then let them be canon. Don't put sexual innuendos on straight couples if they're not going to be a thing and then queerbait. LGBTQ couples should have the same treatment as straight couples.
That's why I don't get a Seamus & Dean pairing. Canon-wise it doesn't make sense. They're both friends and isn't that enough? __________________

Yup, exactly.. I mean, like you said, right now, there are huge LGBTQ, but they gonna be careful when they said you will see, but never confirmed it that they are cancon, but yet, I have see the show when the straight couple get more kissing, love scenes than gay/lesbian/bi couple..
I agree.. Plus I rather to see them have long-term best friend.. I mean, not every couple can be lasting when they first met.. If that made sense.. __________________

We're much better now compared to representation in the early days of TV and movies. But we still need equal exposure for all cause, like you said, we get more steamy sex scenes with straight couples than LGBTQ couples.
I've always pictured Dean & Seamus to be long-term best friends.  It sucks that they're minor characters and we don't know what happened to them post-Hogwarts. Maybe someone needs to ask JKR about this?  __________________

Yeah, I agree.. Even tho I wish that they can add more diverse cast on TV on these day.. But I felt like they still need to find balance both straight and LGBT couples even tho some are longer while other very short.. I think that it have to do w/ network rating bec I know ABC and Freeform are w/ Disney, CBS and CW are almost same network and I dunno about other.. So I assume that have to do w/ that reason..
I hope that JKR can let us know about what happen to secondary characters like Dean and Seamus and others.. __________________

I think it's because of the censorship of network TV too. Cable and streaming sites don't really censor anything so the exposure is better.
I hope we get some news about Alfie's Netflix show already. I still haven't seen any. __________________
