 Did you hear? NPH is cast as a Doctor Who villain. I was so surprised. They usually get British actors for these roles. __________________

Chris Noth was on the show too but only as a guest star. NPH would be a villain but not sure if it's a one time thing or he's a recurring character. They usually cast a British actor for the major roles and this was a big announcement so I was surprised NPH got cast. I don't want to read much because of spoilers but he will be in an ep with David.

13 but the recent one was only 6 or 8, I forgot. They cut it down because of the pandemic. Not sure if they'll make more episodes for the next season.

I'm crying. David looks like the Doctor he portrayed on the show last 2005.

I love it, especially the time David was the Doctor (S4). But also I didn't watch the show in order. I watched S4 first but then I loved it so I went back and watched from S1. It's a sci-fi show and it can be funny and very emotional in some eps. They have good writers on that show.
 I also love the season where Matt Smith was the Doctor. I think that season got me deep into the DW fandom. __________________

So far the show has 13 seasons but the main lead, the Doctor, changes every 3 years. I think David played the Doctor the longest (4 years). It's not weird to re-cast the main lead on the show because of the nature of the show (sci-fi). And I mostly never cry watching a sci-fi show except for DW. David and Matt Smith's run as the Doctor are imo, one of the best that I've seen. You're making me miss the show and I want to re-watch but I need to catch-up on so many shows now.
I recommend watching any random episode from S4 (David;s last era) or S5 (start of Matt Smith era).If you don't like it you can try with the other Doctors. Peter Capaldi was also an amazing Doctor but I just prefer David and Matt more.__________________
